Philip Sketchley has been a trustee of International Cat Care since January 2015.
Previous charity and Trustee experience were as Chairman of National Pet Month for 9 years and Trustee of RCVS Knowledge for 6 years. Also, he was a member of APGAW – All Party Parliamentary Group for Animal Welfare.
Phil, who is now retired from full-time work, has worked in the animal health sector for over 32 years, initially in Sales and Marketing management roles and latterly for 14 years as CEO of NOAH (National Office of Animal Health), the trade association for the Animal Pharma industry. He is also currently Chair of AMTRA – Animal Medicines Training and Regulatory Authority.
His role at NOAH gave considerable experience in the regulatory framework of animal medicines within the UK and Europe and in the education and communication of animal health and welfare.
He graduated in 1973 with a BSc in Biochemistry and Physiology.
